During this workshop, students will learn how to think about and create an artist book from a conceptual perspective. The workshop will start with a brief exploration of what an artist book is, followed by a demonstration of a simple accordion bookbinding structure and the technique of monoprints on plexiglass (a form of printmaking that produces a unique print). Students will be able to create their own artist book using their hands, drawing, collage and monoprints by the end of the workshop. No prerequisites needed.
