PETITION 66662

'Petition 66662’ is a participative installation where I ask people to suggest new male names for potatoes and write them on the giant risograph print in the form of an old analogue petition. Currently, all German potato varieties have female names. This project was inspired by a real petition to the German parliament asking to change the names of over 200 varieties of potato to male names. The accompanying book acts as record of the project.
