New paintings by Penelope Richardson
Mexican Dreaming is an exhibition with five new paintings by Penelope Richardson. All the works are inspired by architecture in Mexico and Marburg.
The works also correspond to ‘Mexico’, a book printed on Risograph and handmade. Each of the pages contains an individual design created during a trip to Mexico in 2016. Every day the artist would create a special pattern based on her experiences and things she had seen during that day.
Other related work was exhibited at the Mexico Pop-up Exhibition last year, or can been seen in the gallery http://peneloperichardson.com/gallery-view/mexico-paintings/Mexico Paintings.
