Five new works on canvas made especially for Mexico Dreaming in Marburg.

The five new paintings for the show “Mexican Dreaming” are painted in fluorescent, neon and high-key colours that are currently common in Richardson’s artist palette. The works are all small scale and despite their size, they pack a punch on the wall. Two of the works make specific reference to the Fachwerk houses typically found in the old parts of the city.  Others are abstractions of the patterns she produced for in her book “Mexico” which was printed using Risograph and hand bound. The Mexico book will also be on show in the upcoming exhibition during Marburger Fruehling at Galerie JPG.
